On episode 82 of the Atlantic City and Casino Biz Podcast, Kyle and Craig talk about the latest AC casino news before taking a look at the August revenue data (yes, we know it’s October). That brought up the question: what changes can Ocean make to bring in more customers?
The news:
- Hard Rock is replacing their Atlantic City casino president with a former Borgata VP.
- The Margaritaville casino area at Resorts is gone, making way for a sports betting lounge. (Everything AC Casinos Facebook Group)
- Resorts is also getting a Wet Willie’s.
- Hard Rock’s gas station is open for business.
- Eldorado Resorts completed their acquisition of Tropicana.
- NJ Governor Phil Murphy isn’t actually ending the state takeover of Atlantic City.
