In our Facebook Group, listener Ed pitched the idea of meeting up on a Sunday afternoon in the summer, since Sunday rooms are cheaper and it’ll give us a chance to take in the live music, blackjack and booze out on The Deck at Golden Nugget. That all sounded great to us — and the proposed date worked — so we’re doing it. Thanks, Ed!

If you’re interested in hanging out and chatting a bit about Atlantic City, casinos, and gambling with other people who love those things, too, you should come meet us on Sunday, June 11th, at The Deck at Golden Nugget at 4 p.m.

Q: What the heck is this thing?
A: We want to meet you fine folks, grab some drinks, and discuss Atlantic City, casinos, gambling, comps, hotel rooms, state and city finances, our podcast, food and drinks, or whatever else interests you about AC. It’s very likely that after a few drinks we will try to find an open blackjack or craps table at Golden Nugget.

Q: Who will be there?
A: Anyone who’s anyone, that’s who! Us! You, hopefully! Other people who love AC and want take in beautiful views of AC while drinking and talking about AC!

Q: Do I need to RSVP?
A: It’s certainly not required, but it’d be nice to know how many people to expect. Feel free to let us know in the Facebook group, on Twitter, or in the comments below.

Q: Who’s the entertainment?
A: The Exceptions will be performing from 2-6 p.m.

Q: Is there a cover?
A: Nope.

Q: Will there be free/discounted drinks or food?
A: We don’t have that kind of clout. But hey, 100-ounce beers!
