- Bruce Deifik confirmed that he has sold Ocean, but wouldn’t name the buyer.
- Notable: Deifik took out a $175 million loan less than a month before opening.
- Looking back: Deifik gets emotional at Casino Control Commission hearing.
- Rumor: Major investor Luxor Capital Group demanded the change.
- Rumor: Buyer could be same company that is buying Sands Bethlehem.

- December and full-year gambling revenue is out.
- Golden Nugget increased its resort fee from $15 to $20 (see all AC resort fees).
- Carl Icahn might be gearing up to sell Trump Plaza…
- While also buying up shares of Caesars Entertainment.

Update on Trop Sports Book by William Hill. Trop started construction on a Sports Book last July in the North Tower a floor above the main casino floor–where the concert hall is located. At some point in the interim the Trop decided that venue was too small and is now building a much larger sports book on the main casino floor next to Chickie’s & Pete’s — very high ceiling and since it fronts the boardwalk it has possible view of the ocean.
